Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using RideSimple ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by RideSimple ("we", "us", "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. The Service
RideSimple provides a booking and operations platform for limo, chauffeur, and transportation businesses. This includes booking forms, pricing tools, an operator dashboard, driver mobile app, and notification services.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription and Billing
- RideSimple is billed monthly at the current subscription rate.
- Usage-based charges (rides beyond included amount, SMS messages beyond included amount) are billed at the end of each billing cycle.
- Launch pricing is locked for 12 months from your subscription date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- We will provide at least 60 days notice before any price increases.
5. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to RideSimple. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access other operators' data
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Send spam or unsolicited messages through our notification systems
- Exceed reasonable usage that negatively impacts other users
7. Payment Processing
If you use the payment collection feature, payments from your customers are processed through your own Stripe account. RideSimple does not handle, store, or have access to your customers' payment card information. You are responsible for your Stripe account and compliance with payment regulations.
8. SMS and Notifications
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to send SMS messages and emails to your customers and drivers. You must comply with all applicable laws including TCPA (US), CASL (Canada), and carrier requirements.
9. Uptime and Support
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance. Support is provided via email.
10. Limitation of Liability
RideSimple is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
